Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid Sisterhood is proud to present Deborah Alpert as our 5778 Torah Fund Woman of Achievement.

Debbie is a vital, enthusiastic and energetic member of our Sisterhood, currently serving as our co-president. She has served on numerous committees, and has a long-time legacy coordinating previous Torah Fund Campaigns, raising over $100,000.

In additional to their volunteerism at CBINT, Debbie and her husband Dick are actively involved in numerous local and national Jewish organizations. They are very proud parents and grandparents. Debbie orchestrates her volunteerism and philanthropy alongside her professional services as a senior advisor for FHK Insurance.

Edna Schrank, our Women’s League of Conservative Judaism Great Lakes Region President, presented Debbie with her award early in June.  Debbie is following in the footsteps of her mother, Bunny Dolnick (z’l), the 1983 Woman of Achievement honoree. To honor Debbie, we encourage you to make a donation to the Torah Fund.  Please submit your donation to the CBINT office, or the current Torah Fund co-chairwomen, Marti Fink and Judy Zaks.
