Friday, October 24

  • 5:40pm — Greet and Sing
  • 6:00pm — Kabbalat Shabbat Service
  • 7:00pm — Shabbat Dinner (RSVP required). Rabbi Held’s presentation will begin during dinner.
    • We’ll run a parallel, soft-educational program for kids when Rabbi Held begins his teaching. Babysitting will be available as well. Both by reservation.
  • Dinner — $22 (Adult); $14 (3-12yrs); Free (2↓); $66 Family Max
    • Note that Milwaukee’s Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob will join us Friday evening.

Saturday, October 25 – Morning

  • 9:30am — Shabbat Morning Service
    • After the Torah reading, Rabbi Held will introduce his theme, Loving Our Neighbor: What it means, Why It’s So Important – But Often So Hard, and facilitate communal Torah study.
  • 12:15pm — Kiddush Lunch (RSVP encouraged)
    • Rabbi Held will continue Torah study on the theme and hold an open discussion after we’ve eaten.
    • We’ll run a parallel, soft-educational program for kids when Rabbi Held begins his teaching. Babysitting will be available as well. Both by reservation.

Saturday, October 25 – Evening

  • 7:00pm — Havdalah and Community Lecture (RSVP encouraged)
    • After Havdalah, Rabbi Held will present on Love and Hope in a Time of Conflict and Despair.
    • Tea and light dessert will be served.
